A majority holding of Investment Funds Direct Group Limited was acquired by Royal London Group in October 2007. The Ascentric business model is used extensively for IFAs with the Fundsdirect brand used as the consumer brand.

Ascentric uses a cutting-edge Wealth Management system. The Wrap platform provides secure, fully integrated online viewing and dealing facilities. This enables advisers to manage cost effectively a large number of client accounts.
